Oishi: Exactly! It’s fun to imagine the recipient while choosing the color. In addition to the standard color variations, this year we also have indigo and matcha available in stores only, which makes the decision even more difficult. I look forward to the beautiful patina that develops after years of use—it really makes you want to use it regularly.
Oishi: Next, for bags, do you have any recommendations?

Oishi: Are you seeing more people looking for gifts in Shinjuku as well?
Nishikawa: Yes, we are. At the Shinjuku store, we have many customers who come in to look for gifts after work, but this year we’re seeing more people coming in for consultations earlier than usual.
Oishi: So let’s start with recommended accessories.“What’s your top pick this year?

Oishi: What was the deciding factor for you?

Oishi: Next, do you have any bag recommendations for gifts?
Nishikawa: Ark. It’s only been on the market for about a year, but it’s already well-recognized as a series. Personally, I feel the leather type pairs particularly well with gift-giving.
