On April 25, 2026, master-piece opened its new concept store,
“master-piece UNLIMITED QUARTZ SHINSAIBASHI.”
UNLIMITED is a line that reconstructs products from a perspective different from conventional master-piece.
As the first flagship store of the “UNLIMITED” line, which is built on the concept of “beyond limits, without boundaries,” it offers a new world and exclusive items that can only be experienced here.
In this article, we introduce QUARTZ-exclusive models created to commemorate the grand opening.
Bump Leather Mesh QUARTZ SHINSAIBASHI Exclusive
A special model reconstructed entirely in leather, based on the Bump series and designed exclusively for QUARTZ.
The body features specially processed leather, creating a unique expression with uneven shading and texture. Unlike natural aging, it is characterized by a three-dimensional texture produced through processing.
In addition, this model incorporates “sashi-ami” (hand-inserted weaving), a technique performed by skilled craftsmen.
This technique involves inserting 2mm-wide leather tapes into slits cut into the base leather at a 45-degree angle, creating a delicate process with high resistance due to friction between the materials.
Each part is woven entirely by hand, requiring approximately one hour to complete, making it a highly time-consuming and skill-intensive specification.
While retaining features such as the one-touch opening with a doctor’s lock and the load-reducing “m-strap,” the model is updated in both material and craftsmanship. A QUARTZ-exclusive Bump backpack combining a solid presence with high functionality.
Aging Glass Leather QUARTZ SHINSAIBASHI Exclusive
A QUARTZ-exclusive model based on the Aging series, updated with glass leather.
The body uses high-quality North American steer leather with tightly packed fibers.
After drum dyeing, the leather is dried without stretching to preserve its natural firmness and texture.
The surface is then sanded and finished with a binder to achieve a glass-like finish, creating a deep and refined luster.
A special rolling process adds depth of color and an antique-like character, resulting in a refined texture distinct from natural aging.
The lining features master-piece’s original logo jacquard. Every detail enhances the premium quality of the series.
A QUARTZ-exclusive Aging series that combines a classic presence with modern depth and shine.
CIRCUS Fabric Change QUARTZ SHINSAIBASHI Exclusive
A QUARTZ-exclusive model based on the CIRCUS series, featuring updated materials and colorways.
The main fabric is INVISTA’s CORDURA® nylon, woven in a twill structure and coated with a special urethane finish.
It offers approximately five times the abrasion and tear resistance of standard nylon, while maintaining a natural wrinkled texture through a special dyeing process. The material combines firmness, lightness, and water resistance.
Additional parts use high-strength CORDURA Ballistic® fabric 1680d nylon with a water-repellent finish and PU coating for enhanced durability.
Leather components are made from eco-friendly vegetable-tanned leather that meets JES standards and contains no harmful hexavalent chromium.
FIDLOCK magnetic parts are used for smooth opening and closing, while YKK AquaGuard zippers and 3-layer waterproof nylon enhance functionality.
Combining multiple materials and unique mechanisms, this QUARTZ-exclusive model adds a matte texture and bold bi-color design to the CIRCUS series.
Rogue – Navy QUARTZ SHINSAIBASHI Exclusive
A QUARTZ-exclusive navy edition from the Rogue series, which blends military inspiration with advanced materials and functionality.
The body is made from high-density woven 66 nylon twill, offering depth of color and a firm texture through high-pressure dyeing.
It is finished with master-piece’s original “m-coat™” water-repellent treatment, providing excellent water resistance and abrasion durability.
The backside features “Breathatec®,” a waterproof and breathable material, combining water repellency and water resistance for all-weather performance.
Additional materials include CORDURA Ballistic® nylon and leather, ensuring durability for tough use. The front pocket is designed for both storage and quick access.
A QUARTZ-exclusive Rogue model featuring a navy colorway that enhances the series’ performance and character.
Potential Leather Ver. QUARTZ SHINSAIBASHI Exclusive
A QUARTZ-exclusive leather version based on the flagship Potential series.
The body is made from high-quality Japanese leather infused with water-repellent agents during chrome tanning, resulting in a highly water-resistant leather throughout.
Finished with a semi-aniline process, it offers a smooth touch and refined appearance.
Eco-friendly leather that meets JES standards is used for additional parts, while the lining features master-piece’s original jacquard.
The shoulder harness includes the “m-strap” system to reduce load, and the cushioning uses Outlast® material developed for NASA, ensuring comfort.
This model combines functionality and luxury, elevating a popular exclusive colorway into a premium leather edition.
